FROM VULIĆ’S UNPUBLISH MANUSCRIPTS: (а few important persons in the end of 19th century and in the first half 20th century through the prism of Nikola Vulić - famous historian of ancient history)

Abstract

Nikola Vulić was one of the most important Serbian researchers in the field of ancient history, epigraphy and archaeology. In a lot of papers in Serbian and several foreign languages, he came out and he was respectable in country but in the world historiography. There are a lot of Vulić’is published works, but there are unpublished manuscripts which is kept at the Archive of the Serbian
Academy of Sciences and Arts and at the National Library of Serbia. The Vulić’is unpublished papers are in the Archive while his private documents are in the National Library. In one of this fascicle there are writings in which Vulić wrote his notices about various scientists, writers, composers and the other intellectuals with whom he contacted (Stevan Mokranjac, Stevan Sremac, Sima Matavulj, Vladimir Ćorović, Jovan Cvijić, Jovan Skerlić, Vladimir Ćorović etc.). The aim of this work is to publish Vulić’is notices but one more time to represent very important intellectuals in the Kingdom of SCS. Nikola Vulić revealed a lot of interesting adventure and anecdotes from their lives and we want to indicate on their importance and contribution to science and cultural creatorship in the Kingdom SCS in the first half of 20 century.
