ANTHROPOGENIC POTENTIALS OF THE CITY OF LESKOVAC IN THE FUNCTION OF DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL TOURISM

Abstract

Cultural tourism is one of the types of tourism that has been recording intense progress over the last few decades, primarily due to the increase in the educational and cultural level of the population. At the core of cultural tourism, there are cultural tourism needs, which are satisfied by visiting and experiencing anthropogenic tourist values. In this paper are presented anthropogenic tourist values of the City of Leskovac. Тhe aim of the study is to examine the real state of anthropogenic tourism potentials, in order to attract tourists who are motivated by cultural tourism needs. Cultural itineraries were also presented on the territory of the city, but also wider, through several cities, which could be available for tourists. Particularly prominent are the general problems of the development of cultural tourism with which the City of Leskovac faces, but also the strategic measures that should be taken in the near future.
