Abstract
The previous archaeological and geoarchaeological researches of the Drenovac site have unequivocally shown that erosive processes, as one of the most common destructive exogenous processes, took place on this site for a long period of time. These processes inevitably had an impact on the appearance of the modern landscape, starting from the Neolithic period to the present day. The aim of this paper is to calculate the crop and crop menagment factor (C factor) during the assessment of modern soil erosion at the Drenovac site using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) model in a Geographic Information System (GIS). The C factor is one of the most important input parameters for the application of the USLE model and indicators of possible soil erosion in this site, and its correct calculation provides the potentially most vulnerable zones caused by erosion.
