PAPERS ON PERIODICS IN THE LESKOVAC PROCEEDINGS 1961-2020.

Abstract

The paper analyzes the works on periodicals in the "Leskovac anthology" from the beginning of the magazine's publication in 1961 to the last issue from 2020. Attention is paid to works that deal entirely or mostly with periodicals, both newspapers and magazines that were published in southern Serbia, and those of more general importance, that were published in Belgrade or other parts of the country. The number, structure and content of periodicals were analyzed. The aim of this paper is to point out the importance of periodicals as a historical source in the entire corpus of the "Leskovac Collection", as well as to present the importance of periodicals in the history, political, social and cultural life of Leskovac and Southern Serbia.
