Abstract
The paper presents the results of the research conducted concerning the participation of Božidar Lešević and Jovan Gaicki in the Ravna Gora Movement in Macedonia in the period 1943 – 1944. The process of creation of the Ravna Gora Movement in Macedonia began in 1942. On this territory, the Ravna Gora Movement acted in certain areas. One of them was Poreče. Lešević and Gaicki arrived in Porečе in 1943, the first around August and the second in December. According to the available sources and literature, it is not possible for us to create a more complete picture related to Lešević’s and Gaicki’s activities in the Ravna Gora Movement in Macedonia. We can list only the basic information relating to them. In June 1944, in Porečе, Gaicki negotiated with two members of the National Liberation Movement. Lešević had the ranks of adjutant captain and infantry captain. In July 1944 he was assigned to conduct combat and moral training, but it isn’t known whether he undertook anything in that sense. The Ravna Gora Movement in Porečе was defeated in August 1944. On November 14, 1944, Gaicki was arrested. Lešević was interrogated in 1945. Records were created for both of them.
