Abstract

This paper points to the difficult position of the Serbian population in the enslaved country and of Serbian soldiers and civilians who had to come to the territory of another country with large incidental losses. What constitutes a special curiosity is the functioning of the legislative and executive authorities outside the territory of their occupied country. It is a belief that freedom must be granted, even if the price was many victims and heroic people. In order to show the complexity of such a functioning of the authorities and the army, we have determined that the reference to the interpellations of the opposition deputies show the complexity of the situation, and the possibility of condemning the Government for certain procedures, which could, in the logic of things, lead to the vote of her mistrust. However, instead, the complexity of the situation was taken into account, and the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Serbia, in Corfu in 1916, passed key laws for further continuation of the struggle and the achievement of the final goal - the liberation of the country.
