Abstract
After the end of the First World War, the liberated territory of Old Serbia was integrated into the system of the newly formed Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. The central authorities in Belgrade imposed the issue of liquidation of feudalism, economic recovery and normalization of inter-ethnic relations in the territories of Kosovo and Metohija and Southern Serbia. Resistance to a new social order and a system of power by a number of Albanians in the south of the country has complicated the process of resolving these issues. The permanent destruction of the system that was reflected in the work of the Kosovo Committee and the Kacak Movement (1918-1924) with the aim of destabilizing the Southern Serbia of that time, is the subject of our interest. The most important accent was devoted to presenting a document that reflects the security opportunities of that time. It was created at the Gendarmerie Command in Belgrade, November 8, 1924, and is entitled: “A Guidance for the Work of the Gendarmerie to Destroy the Gang’s Gangs”. A copy of the document was found at the Archives Department of the Institute for National History in Skopje within the Fund “General Staff” of the Army of the Kingdom of SHS / Yugoslavia.
