DRAGIŠA CVETKOVIĆ AND ACCESSION TO THE TRIPARTITE PACT

Abstract

The signing of the agreement on the accession of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia to the Tripartite Pact and how to avoid it was the main topic dealt with by the state top of Yugoslavia for several months in 1941. The difficult acceptance of this possibility also led to resignations in the Government of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. On the very moment of signing the accession to the Tripartite Pact, Dragisa Cvetkovic left detailed notes from which the most clearly depicts his mental state these days.
